  • under_score will make their return to Bristol's clubbing scene this Friday, featuring a headlining performance from Wbeeza. The under_score crew have been active in the city for over five years now, focusing on the more experimental end of dance floor electronics in a variety of intimate venues across the city, and putting on the debut Bristol performances of artists such as Marcel Dettmann, Move D, Bruno Pronsato, Portable, Errorsmith, Shed and Sleeparchive. Their usual home of The Tube sadly closed its doors last month, so this weekend's party will take place in the relatively new confines of Day & Night, with plenty of house music on the menu throughout the night's six hours. Wbeeza is currently one of the capital's most hotly tipped house music acts, having released three well-received EPs on Guy McCreery's Third Ear imprint. McCreery caught wind of his talent a few years ago and went on to groom him into an artist with a considerably mature sound, one that belies his current age of 24. Quite uncommonly in the house scene, Wbeeza eschews the usual DJ set approach and only plays live. He'll be bringing his laptop along for an extended session of his own productions alongside acid house expert and under_score resident Placid, and Falling Up residents Jay-L and Andy Mac.
