  • Akufen will make his first appearance in the English capital for nearly four years next month. The French Canadian micro house producer has had a relatively quiet second half of the last decade, turning his hand to a few remixes but keeping all of his new original material to himself. He's continued to remain busy on the tour circuit, however, and seeing him live will be the only way that fans will get to hear new tracks for the time being. Leclair's last performance in London was at fabric back in 2006, and he'll return to the club that granted him his only commercial mix CD on Saturday 20th February for a main room slot. Akufen will be the sole live performer in the main room on the night, with Vera, Tobi Neumann and fabric resident Craig Richards filling in the blanks on the ones and twos, while Billy Nasty, Mark Broom and Samuel L. Session (the latter of which will perform live) will bring a tougher tech-house to room two. Canadian house imprint Lazy Days will complete the bill with their room three label showcase, with Fred Everything, Giom and Lovebirds set to lay down their respective melodic styles.
