  • Shackleton will play live in Brussels next month at an A/V concert presented by Meakusma. Intended to be a sit-down, gallery-style event, the concert will begin with a lecture by Robert Siegel, who will then provide video accompaniment for Shackleton's live performance. The night will also feature a performance by audio-visual artist Yko. Meakusma is an avant-garde Belgian label that specializes in mixing video art and electronic music. In addition to EPs by Madteo, Massimiliano Pagliara and Roger 23, Meakusma released the Rüts vinyl series and DVD compilation last year, the latter of which featured music videos for exclusive tracks by the likes of Move D, Benjamin Brunn and Peter Van Hoesen.
