Ron Trent and Osunlade headline Muak

- Deep and soulful house music will be on the agenda for this weekend's bash at London's Egg club.
- Ron Trent and Osunlade will head up an evening of jazzy US house at Egg in London next Saturday. Over the last few months, Muak have invited the likes of DJ Sneak and Kerri Chandler to the North London club, and this US-oriented booking policy will continue into 2010 with their a double header from two of the country's finest deep house artists. Osunlade is now based on the Greek island of Santorini, splitting his production time between house music and a more song-focused style (the latter of which can be heard on his forthcoming Rebirth LP), and this means that he continues to enjoy regular bookings across the entire continent. Performances from Trent, however, are few and far between, with the Chicago and New York-affiliated musician last touching down in the English capital on New Year's Eve of '08, so fans of smooth organic house should do all they can to check out his only UK gig during this trip. Out on the Egg terrace, Sheffield's own deep house master Charles Webster will take to the controls, with support coming from Zaki, Manish, Toni C and a host of house music DJs from all around London, taking things all the way through until 11am.
