  • Move D will perform a special extended set early next year in London. David Moufang, as he is known to his parents, has been steadily establishing his reputation as a producer and DJ over the past decade. In 1992, he began his career in earnest by setting up a label with Jonas Grossman called Source Records in his hometown of Heidelberg in 1992, and eventually giving life to smaller sub-labels such as KM 20 in the mid- to late-90's as well. Over this time he has showcased a diverse understanding of electronic music with a mosaic of releases which display influences ranging from techno, minimal, deep house, down tempo, disco, dub, electro and ambient. More recently, his Reagenz project—a collaboration with Jonas Sharp—was revived in late 2009 following a 13-year hiatus, leading to a double LP and two 12-inch EP's on Workshop. Maintaining a consistent reputation for its club nights, promoter Warm will host Moufang for an extended four hour DJ set of his discerning sounds on Friday, January 15th; backed up by the Warm residents, Ali Tillett and Rob Summerhayes at Plastic People. Limited advance tickets are now on sale via RA Tickets.
