- The duo will be bringing visual artists Pfadfinderei along for a performance at Amsterdam's Melkweg in January.
- Modeselektor will play a special "soundsystem" set in Amsterdam on Friday 22nd January. Klinch is currently the venue's most house and techno-oriented party, hosting the likes of Cassy, King Britt, Sandwell District and Kevin Saunderson during '09, but every quarter the party steps its game up even further, cramming the venue with a host of top international names. These nights go by the name of Electric Deluxe, and the January incarnation will be headlined by Modeselektor and their long-time visual collaborators Pfadfinderei. The duo's set has been dubbed Modeselektor Soundsystem, so expect more than just their usual live set when they take to the stage. Mathew Jonson will also be lugging his gear all the way to Amsterdam to perform some of his twisting and turning jazzy techno, while the local line-up is certainly nothing to be scoffed at. 2000 and One and Estroe pad things out in the main room with their modern tech house styles, but those who like their techno loopy should check out the second room, which will see a five-hour set from Dutch techno legend Speedy J.
