  • Dennis Ferrer will headline Dirty London's first party at matter later this month. The US house star has been a hit on the underground scene for a good fifteen years now, running his successful Ibadan and Objektivity imprints and maintaining a steady flow of productions, but he's about to go overground with a Grammy nomination for his remix of Dido. He'll be topping the bill at Dirty London's Bank Holiday party on Sunday 27th December, and he'll be bringing over his NYC-based protégés The Martinez Brothers to show exactly why they've been tipped as one of the most exciting house music DJs to come out of the city for quite a while. There'll also be plenty of UK talent present, with broken beat and nu-jazz merchants Bugz in the Attic taking to the stage alongside Phil Asher, Gavin Peters, and UK funky doyenne Cooly G. Those expecting the rough and ready broken style of her peers in the scene may be pleasantly surprised, as when she gets behind the decks, she favours a DJing style that takes as much of a cue from the likes of Ferrer as it does any other UK DJs. Tickets for the Dirty London event are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
