  • Jazzanova's residency night Kaleidoskop will be touching down at Berlin's Lido venue tomorrow night. The long-running party's roots reach back to 1999, with its beginnings at Berlin's famed WMF club. The multi-membered Jazzanova collective have helmed the nights, which have attracted international guests like Louie Vega, Gilles Peterson, Carl Craig, Maurice Fulton and LTJ Bukem. Showcasing the sounds of hip-hop, house, disco, jazz and boogie that Jazzanova are renowned for championing in techno-friendly Berlin, Kaleidoskop last featured in the monthly lineup of Cookies at the start of the year. After hitting the hitting the road—and the festival circuit—for most of the summer with their new live show, Jazzanova are back in their home town, and setting up shop at popular live venue Lido. Saturday's re-opening will feature legendary Frankfurt DJ Michael Rütten, and a live performance by hip-hop/house/nu-jazz fusionists Feindrehstar. Tickets for Kaleidoskop are now available to purchase directly from RA Tickets.
