The polls are open: RA wants to know your
top DJs and live acts from 2009.
In a world where so much of our lives are focused on the future, it's nice to take a moment and look back. Take stock, categorize, rank. That's why each year in December, RA holds a poll to find out who has been among
your favourite performers of the past 365 days.
Had a DJ soundtrack the night of your life? How about a live act that played their own music in a way that you had never heard before? We want to hear about the people that have been taking it to another level in 2009. That's right: You decide who's hot and who's not in RA's
year-end DJ and live act polls.
We, of course, know the issues that come with online polling. Too many times these things turn into multiple registration/fake e-mail/newsletter spam popularity contests. We take this very seriously, which is why all users that have registered after November 3rd on RA will not be eligible to vote.
One final thing to remember before
heading off to the polls: There is a distinct difference between DJs and live acts. Be sure that you're voting for the right person in the right category. (We trust most of you, but we thought a reminder wouldn't hurt...)
