  • Scott Grooves will leave his Detroit hometown for a single show in London next month. Even though Grooves has been active in the Detroit scene as both a DJ and producer for nearly twenty years, his European appearances have been few and far between. Over the last few years, patronage from fellow Detroit artists such as Omar-S and Patrice Scott have fuelled the demand for appearances across the pond, with Grooves set to play his second London club show of the year on Friday 20th November. He'll be bringing his melodic mix of house and techno sounds to East Village's Star Spangled night, which was founded in order to showcase the current wave of US producers and DJs that are exciting ears in the capital. Joining him in the basement will be East Village resident Stuart Patterson and his fellow Faith compadre Jimmy P, while Dan Beaumont (Disco Bloodbath) and Severino (Horse Meat Disco) will join forces to bring the upstairs crowd some vintage boogie and disco.
