- The veteran UK jock will celebrate the second edition of his edits series at The Horse & Groom in London next weekend.
East London venue The Horse & Groom will play host to the launch party of Greg Wilson's Credit To The Edit Volume 2 release next Sunday November 22nd.
As we reported back in September, venerable UK disc jockey Greg Wilson has put together the second installment in his Credit To The Edit series, which was released through Tirk earlier this month. The album follows on from the initial 2005 offering with a blend of classic and contemporary material that has all come under Wilson's ever-dependable knife. In celebration of the occasion, Wilson has chosen The Horse & Groom in London's Shoreditch district to house the release party and will bring his laptop/reel-to-reel/decks set-up along for a four hour set. Wilson is no stranger to the venue having played at the inaugural Discovery Sunday session there last year. Joining him on the day will be residents Neil Thornton (who did in fact spin at the launch party for the first CTTE release back in 2005) and Dave Rose, while Tirk will come under representation from DJs Matty J and Ben Terry. In addition to the sounds, expect "tasty homemade food, freshly prepared bloody marys, drinking, dancing, laughter and extended horseplay," and if all of this hasn't been enough to convince you, also factor in the party will be completely free of charge.
