- Halloween has long been a great excuse to dress up and hit the town, so we've decided to make your life easier by rounding up New York's best parties over the Halloween weekend. Those looking to start early on the Friday night will have a few choices; Horizontal boss and current RA feature star Dinky headlines the Auf party, Dr Motte and Alex Bau bring the Teutonic techno at Mischief, while Hidden Recordings host Minus' Ambivalent over at Bar 13. As is to be expected when Halloween falls on the weekend, the actual day sees a wider selection of parties, ranging from electro-house through to techno. Resolute and Blk|market will team up for a secret party that stars the likes of Craig Richards, Bruno Pronsato, Danton Eeprom and Mr C, while Sheik 'N' Beik go off on a more minimal tangent with Dandy Jack and DC10 residents System Of Survival. Boys Noize takes over Santos Party House, but more traditional house and techno fans will also be able to check solo shows from DJ T., Danny Tenaglia, Osunlade and Paco Osuna.
