Make sure that you're getting spooky at the right party this year, with Tiga, Robert Hood and Miss Fitz amongst the acts to choose from.
Having trouble plotting your nocturnal activities this Halloween? RA are here to assist you.
Far from being the solely American tradition that it once was, Halloween is now embraced by the British as a great excuse to get dressed up and party all night long. With this change in attitudes, the choice of where you're going to be at the witching hour has got much more difficult, with plenty of parties big and small jostling for your business.
Of course, fabric and matter are pulling no punches when it comes to their Saturday night spooktaculars, with the former hosting D'Julz, Robert Hood, Nick Curly and Alex Celler as well as live sets from Lemos, 2020 Soundsystem and Phil Kieran. matter meanwhile will go for more of an electro-house and eclectic vibe with Tiga, Optimo and In Flagranti leading the charge, while Ministry Of Sound mix up the progressive beats of SOS with a five-hour back-to-back disco session courtesy of Norwegians Todd Terje and DJ Strangefruit.
Minimal house and techno from Julien Chaptal and Matt John is on the menu at Shane Watcha's Zombies Ate My Brain bash at Cable, while dubsteppers will be likely to head to Brixton's newly redecorated Plan B for sets from Rusko, Untold, Débruit and Leeds' Iration Steppers crew. Wall Of Sound celebrate their 15th anniversary at Den & Centro with electro-pop from Infadels, Shy Child and Mpho, while Mulletover return to the same venue that they held their own birthday bash for an almost sold out party that includes Lee Burridge, Horse Meat Disco and Simon Baker. Those looking to attend Neon Noise Project's Kitsuné Maison party with Delphic and Riton should arrive early as advance tickets have now completely sold out, but there's still plenty on offer for ravers looking for a more intimate and cheap way to celebrate Halloween.
T Bar are of course offering free entry to their party with Miss Fitz and Cesar Merveille, while disco fans can avoid a cover charge by checking out Toby Tobias and Beyond The Wizards Sleeve's Richard Norris at Roadtrip's Balearica bash. Rob Mello will be throwing down some house at The Hoxton Pony, while Rex the Dog is set to headline Slide's shindig at Brixton's Dex Club.
