- The album will see a release through his and Alex Waldron's Greco-Roman imprint later this year.
Hot Chip co-vocalist Joe Goddard has finished work on his debut solo LP, entitled Harvest Festival.
As well as spending his days playing synthesisers and percussion in the electro-pop quintet, Goddard also helps run the Greco-Roman label, which has so far released singles from the likes of Buraka Som Sistema, David E. Sugar, and previous RA podcaster Drums Of Death. Harvest Festival will be the label's first venture into the album format, and although we haven't had a chance to take a listen as yet, we're promised "winds from woozy ambience to the polyrhythms of London's clubland and back again."
In other Greco-Roman news, the label are planning to issue a box set of the first five 12-inch releases in November, which will include a CD containing all of the previously vinyl-only tracks as well as special artwork from Greco-Roman illustrator Lorenzo Fruzza.
