  • Future Entertainment have announced the initial line-up for the Melbourne, Adelaide and Gold Coast legs of Summadayze 2010, kicking off on New Year's Day. The festival, which has its greatest showing in the Victorian capital, will travel to Adelaide, Perth and the Gold Coast with a reduced line-up. Carl Cox and 2 Many DJs have been announced as headliners for each leg of the traveling festival, which will conclude with the Gold Coast leg on 9th January. House and progressive fans have been catered for, with Sharam, Danny Howells and Nic Fanciulli set to appear. DFA will be out in force, with LCD Soundsystem locked in for a DJ set, and Juan Maclean set to perform live. And Sinden and Fake Blood serve as part of a heavy electro contingent, while breaks will be represented by UK heavyweights Krafty Kuts and Evil Nine. In an interesting move, the festival, now in its 11th year, will also play host to Belgian trio Technotronic, the group responsible for cheesy '90s anthem "Pump Up the Jam." Line-up details of the Perth installment are yet to be announced. A second line-up announcement with additions to all cities is expected later this year.
