- Theo Parrish, Prins Thomas, Riley Reinhold and Trus'me will finally have their mixes of the 45:33 project issued by DFA.
LCD Soundsystem are set to issue their 45:33 Remixes project later this month.
After an 18-month gestation period, the time has finally come for DFA to issue the mixes for James Murphy's 45-minute running track for Nike, which was originally crafted as a tribute to Manuel Göttsching's E2-E4. Prins Thomas has already been playing his mid-tempo space-boogie effort in his DJ sets for over a year now, and his mix will be featured alongside contributions from Mancunian house head Trus'me, dark disco wizards Padded Cell, French edit king Pilooski, and Traum boss Riley Reinhold (AKA Triple R). Fellow NYC residents Runaway and Prince Language turn in dubby deep house and cosmic piano-disco takes respectively, while Detroit house don Theo Parrish completes the CD and download package, working offbeat stabs, riding hi-hats and rising brass lines into his jazzy ten-minute excursion.
