- Âme and Lil Tony will share DJing duties at Warm's Plastic People residency later this month.
Warm are set to return to Plastic People for the eighth installment of their residency on Friday August 21st.
What with Warm owner Ali Tillett's role as booking agent to most of the Innervisions crew, it's easy to see why his Warm parties have become a popular choice for London-based fans of the label wanting to see some of their favourite DJs in more intimate surroundings than usual. For this month's Plastic People event, Innervisions mainstays Âme will headline with their blend of deep and tech house sounds, while Helsinki's Lil' Tony will provide support, downsizing slightly from last month's main room slot at Cable.
Tony has been been a lynchpin in Helsinki's electronic music scene for nearly twenty years now, running some of Finland's premium nightclubs and becoming celebrated locally for his deft skills behind the decks. Over the past few years he's received acclaim in the international community for his work both as Lil Tony and with Future Beat Investigators, mining a melodic but driving style for labels such as Sonar Kollektiv, Raw Fusion, Moodmusic and Versatile as well as Innervisions.
