- Focus On will draw together a selection of the imprint's recent back catalogue.
Neil Quigley is set to mix a selection of Renaissance's recent back catalogue under the title of Focus On.
It's been a productive past few years for Londoner Neil Quigley, who, after making his name as John Digweed's warm-up DJ of choice, became Renaissance's go-to guy for their parties and tours across the world, while also putting out the odd original production and remix. The compilation will be Quigley's first mix for the imprint and will showcase some of its recent highlights including tracks by John Digweed, James Zabiela, Jerome Sydenham, Nic Fanciulli, and Christian Smith & John Selway amongst others. Quigley will also include a taste of his own handiwork—most notably a remix of Phonique's "For the Time Being"— alongside his new production "That Whole Thing."
The ethos behind the mix, as Quigley puts it, is to, "showcase the varied styles of Renaissance's output over recent years, making sure I included many of my favourites, and put them together in a way that still flowed so people can enjoy it as a mix in its own right."
