  • Indie dance quartet Zoot Woman will return in August with their third album. Stuart David Price, Johnny Blake, Adam Blake and Jasmin O'Meara seemingly disappeared after their 2003 self-titled full-length. But frustratingly brief teaser singles in 2007 and 2008 have kept hope alive that the group was simply hard at work on their next opus. Those hopes have been realized in the form of Things Are What They Used to Be, a 12-track record that once again utilizes the hyper-melodic talents of Price—the producer behind Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor—to help the songs along their way to pop perfection. We haven't heard the results yet—aside from samples on MySpace—but it seems as though that's very much the case yet again, with Price and the two Blakes sharing songwriting duties. Tracklist 01.
