Rabid launch festival

- London promoters Rabid have announced their first venture into the winter festival market. The Rabid crew originally started off throwing massive outdoor parties in Mexico, but now they've decided to bring their organisational expertise to the English capital for a single day festival. It may be in November, but those worried about braving the cold shouldn't worry, as Rabid will be held in a five room indoor venue, which is yet to be announced. Slovenian tech-houser Umek will top the bill alongside Moon Harbour's Matthias Tanzmann, with ex-Crosstown Rebels producers André Kraml and Silversurfer providing back up with their cheeky minimal and electro house respectively. Polish techno stalwart Marcin Czubala rounds off the high profile guest bookings, while the rest of the evening will be looked after by some of London's top house and techno promoters, including Ketoloco, Wet Yourself and Lost Souls.
