Kompakt return to Nitsa

- The Barcelonan club will host the Cologne label's off-Sonar showcase yet again this year.
- Kompakt will again take up residence at Barcelona's Nitsa club during the Sonar weekend this year. Over the last few years, the Cologne imprint has teamed up with labels like Playhouse, Soniculture and Musik Krause for their off-Sonar shenanigans, but their 2009 event will see them go it alone on the Friday night at Nitsa. Michael Mayer will be giving the bash a miss this year, but Kompakt devotees will still get label regulars Gui Boratto, Superpitcher and DJ Koze strutting their stuff in the Nitsa booth. Gus Gus will also be present, and may very well preview tracks from his forthcoming album on Kompakt, whilst DJ Fra from Ferenc will round things off. As always at Nitsa, the visuals are very much a focus, and regular Kompakt VJ Okinawa69 will make the trip from Cologne to supply his graphical expertise for the evening.
