  • New York house label Strictly Rhythm are set to celebrate their 20th birthday with a show at Ministry Of Sound later this month. Taking place on Saturday 20th June, the bash will see three of New York's house music heroes take to the turntables in the MOS main room. First up are the youthful The Martinez Brothers, who've been making the most of their recently acquired notoriety with various collaborations and international tour dates. They'll be taking on the experienced hand of Osunlade, who's stock is higher than ever after the now ubiquitous "Mirror Dance" took the world's clubs by storm. Defected owner Simon Dunmore take to the controls in the bar, where he'll be joined by Dutch duo Chocolate Puma, but ef either of these options don't give you the Strictly fix you've been looking for, then worry not: Aaron Ross and Phil Cheeseman will be playing classics from the Strictly Rhythm back catalogue all night in the loft. If you're feeling a little more flush, then you could shell out an extra tenner for the Strictly Rhythm boat party earlier in the day, which will feature Ben Westbeech and recent Cadenza signing Michel Cleis as well as Osunlade and The Martinez Brothers. Boat party tickets will also guarantee you entry to the party at MOS later that evening, but if you're just after tickets for the main event, you can purchase yours directly from RA Tickets.
