- The former Avalanche will soon tour the Australian east coast.
DJ Dexter, renowned for his influential involvement with The Avalanches, is set for a string of Australian east coast dates over the course of the summer. Since parting ways with The Avalanches in the early 2000s, the four-time Australian DMC champion and producer has been labelled by Grandmaster Flash as "one of the most creative and forward thinking DJs in the world," and has completed over 150 European, UK and US dates, notably providing support for Moby and The Chemical Brothers.
Well-known for his work on The Avalanches' beloved debut Since I Left You—in which he famously provided production on the single "Frontier Psychiatrist"—Dexter has reportedly spent the last year dabbling in techno, dubstep and drum & bass, so what he'll choose to showcase on this tour is anybody's guess
