  • Claude VonStroke jets into Glasgow this Friday to help blow out the candles at Glasgow collective Cotton Cake's 4th birthday party at The Sub Club. Cotton's fun-filled monthly events have previously reeled in high-profile guests such as Mr. Oizo, Superpitcher and Radio One's resident airhorn merchant Kissy Sell Out. VonStroke is perhaps most famous for the 2007 smash "Who's Afraid of Detroit?" and as the label boss of San Francisco's genre-bending Dirtybird and Mothership imprints. Hard at work on his second album, CVS has found time to hit up the UK this weekend for shows in Glasgow and London's Fabric, whose in-house record label will release his newest mix this week in the UK. VonStroke's last visit to the legendary Glasgow venue was in 2007.
