  • Viva Music boss Steve Lawler has announced the label's return to Ministry Of Sound for the first of an exclusive run of parties beginning on May 16th. With Lawler's former haunt The End now but a distant memory (at least in its former guise), South London venue Ministry Of Sound have stepped in to offer Viva Music and Lawler a regular home after a reportedly successful debut at the club back in January. "The first party was a huge success," commented Lawler on the hook-up. "We had Viva music artists in every room. The main room at Ministry is undoubtedly one of the best rooms in the entire world. MOS has gone through so much...but that main room is untouchable it's made for music and music only, there are no tables, no glitchy lights, no mirrors. Just a perfect square box for music. I love it." Leading the charge in the Bar will be SIS, who, after a visa related mix-up prevented him from playing at Ketoloco's Bank holiday bash, will be keen for a smooth passage towards next Saturday's gig. Systematic's Marc Romboy and BPitch's Paul Kalkbrenner will be joining Lawler in the Box, with rising Detroit DJ/producer Kris Wadsworth and Darius Syrossian & Nyra of Viva Music fame lending support in the Bar.
