Billy Dalessandro is set to release his fourth album next month.
The Chicago-based producer has previously seen his work committed to wax on the Force Inc, Resopal, Harthouse, but his latest full-length will see the light of day on the Soniculture label, which is run by Portuguese producer Xpander. Entitled Polis (Greek for "city"), the record is apparently a concept album based on city structure and urban decay. The idea might sound quite adventurous, but there's very little in the way of avant-garde posturing as Dalessandro whips through minimal house, techno, and even booty-shaking electro on "In The Red," which features the deadpan vocal delivery of Golds/anted.
