The Field returns to London

- Axel Willner will play a free gig in the English capital next month.
- The Field will precede the release of his Yesterday & Today album with a free gig at Cargo. As with most of the recent Kompakt events in the capital, the show will be hosted by the Allez-Allez crew, who have roped in fellow bloggers 20 Jazz Funk Greats to help out behind the decks. Border Community's synth wizard Luke Abbott will also play live, but the main event is unquestionably Axel Willner's first UK gig since his appearance at the matter opening party. His live performances as The Field have now evolved into a three piece band involving percussionist Dan Enqvist and multi-instrumentalist Andreas Söderstrom, so expect a slightly different take on Willner's shimmering loopy sound at the show on April 4th. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so head down early to assure yourself a place on the dance floor.
