Underworld headline Glade

- The famed electronica group will make their only festival appearance in 2009 at the event.
- Legendary electronica duo Underworld have announced their sole UK festival appearance this year. The lucky beneficiaries of the exclusivity? Glade. The two have been known to put on stirring performances in the past at festivals, and we'd expect this to be no different considering the fact that Glade has relocated this year to a new venue where sound levels are reportedly no longer a concern. That's good news for Underworld, but also for BLOC—curators of BLOC Weekend—who will host the main late night tent at the festival which will also boast "venues hosted by Breaksday, Overkill, Nu-Skool Breaks, Fabric dubsteppers Dublime and Cool & Deadly and Kiss FM’s Jay Cunning." While no other acts have been announced at this time, those looking to see Underworld at all costs this summer can already buy tickets at the festival's official site.
