  • Before heading off to Miami, Henrik Schwarz and Âme will stop in New York for a Friday night show at Le Poisson Rouge. The night will be the first time that Schwarz has played in the city in more than two years, a span of time that has seen the producer enter into the production elite via his jazz and soul-inflected compositions. Aside from traveling seemingly everywhere in the world aside from New York, Schwarz has been hard at work in the studio. In an exclusive interview with RA, Schwarz revealed that he is currently working on a new full-length and hopes to have it done by the end of the year, and is also prepping two releases for his Sunday Music imprint—one under his own name, and one by A Critical Mass (the project composed of himself, Âme and Dixon)—which are "nearly done." Speaking of Âme, they'll be DJing on the night—their first appearance in the city since Kristian came as part of the RA night at Cielo late last year. Also featuring on the night? Electro pop weirdos The Chap, whose 2008 Ghostly International record Mega Breakfast, was described as "pop improv disco rock with strings," and one-half of the deep voiced Mister Saturday Night Eamon Harkin will open.
