  • Kevin Saunderson is due to headline the Filthy Gorgeous party this Saturday. His performance at London's Lightbox venue will mark the first time that the Detroit pioneer has played in the UK for six months, and it's in a much smaller venue than last August's gig at Heaven. (Lightbox is a 400 capacity space in Vauxhall.) But while the venue might be fairly small, their ambition definitely isn't: With 15,000 separate LED lights and lasers lining the main room, the owners are attempting to achieve the atmosphere of a superclub in their more intimate surroundings. Saunderson will be joined in the main room by Leftroom's Marc Ashken, and his tenebrous techno should provide the perfect foil for the lighter sound that Saunderson is currently favouring. Metrik will host the back room, and they've drafted in Rebekah to headline for them. This party will be the Birmingham-based DJ's second London gig in a month, following her set at the recent Don't Techno Sh!t party with Maxime Dangles.
