  • Misstress Barbara is not a human image
  • Acclaimed DJ/producer Misstress Barbara will release her debut artist album in May. The effort, curiously entitled I'm No Human, is a song-based effort that sees her offering up a different side to the Misstress persona. Lead single "Dance Me to the End of Love" sets the tone: It's a Leonard Cohen cover, and the rest of the record will feature her vocals alongside contributions from Sam Roberts, Brazilian Girls and Bjorn Yttling of indie heartthrobs Peter, Bjorn and John. Indeed, Barbara has written all of the lyrics, and sings throughout—a remarkable difference from the days when she was once pegged as a hard techno DJ. Tracklist 1. i'm no human 2. is it ok feat.
