Circus kicks off 2009

- Laurent Garnier, Fatboy Slim and Tiefschwarz will play in Liverpool this Friday.
- Liverpool's monthly house night, Circus, are set to kick off 2009 in style with a mammoth seven hour set from Laurent Garnier. Garnier will take over the Annexe for the entire duration of the night, but there's an equally impressive line-up elsewhere: The main room will see an appearance from Fatboy Slim, who will no doubt be previewing some of the material from his forthcoming album as Brighton Port Authority. Fellow Brighton resident Cagedbaby will also play alongside Fatboy, as well as Japanese electro-house merchant Shinichi Osawa. Dancers not attuned to the big room can get their dose of minimal and tech-house in the Courtyard, where Tiefschwarz and Tim Green will be joined by a special guest that is still yet to be announced. If you thought that January was for relaxing, then this party may very well change your mind.
