Electronic music producer James Ongley started his Murder He Wrote project in early 2012 with one aim. "I just wanted to keep people guessing - with previous aliases I've ended up feeling a bit constrained by expectations around genre. This was trying to get away from all that." He’s certainly achieved his goal, with an eclectic range of remixes and original compositions spanning everything from grime to folk receiving support from a wide variety of DJs, and airplay on BBC 6Music, 1Xtra, Rinse FM and well-respected Boiler Room offshoot NTS Radio.
